We are proud to announce that three of our recent projects have been recognised at the 2025 Sussex Heritage Trust Awards, a prestigious event celebrating excellence in conservation, restoration, and good design across the region.

Newhaven Fort was named Winner in the Public & Community category. This landmark project has seen the sensitive revitalisation of one of the most significant defence structures on the south coast. Our work at this Scheduled Monument focused on carefully conserving historic fabric while introducing new interventions to improve accessibility, interpretation, and visitor experience. The award recognises the successful collaboration of a multidisciplinary team and the importance of preserving and enhancing public heritage assets.

Amberley Museum received a Highly Commended award. Located within a former chalk quarry and historic industrial site, the museum plays a vital cultural role in the region. Our interventions improved functionality and accessibility while ensuring the long-term preservation of the site's unique character.

Also acknowledged was Ambersham House, a private residential project involving the sensitive restoration of a significant historic building. The scheme brought the property back into use while respecting its architectural integrity and heritage significance.

Having one project recognised at the Sussex Heritage Trust Awards is a significant achievement. To have three projects acknowledged this year is something we are truly proud of. A testament to the dedication, skill, and collaboration of the teams involved.
