Pritchard Architecture continues to grow with two recent starters

Pritchard Architecture is pleased to announce the arrival of two new team members, reflecting the continued growth of the practice and its expanding portfolio of projects across Hampshire.

Ellie Brooker joined us in the summer on a 6 month placement, having earned her Bachelor of Art (Hons) in Interior Architecture and Design from the University of Portsmouth in 2024.

Having grown up with parents who were passionate about property development, Ellie developed an early interest in design. From a young age, she assisted in creating spatial layouts and hand-sketched plans, which ultimately inspired her to pursue a degree in Interior Architecture and Design.

Her final year major project focused on transforming a partially unused Grade II listed building into a fully functioning community orientated space. This project ignited Ellie's interest in conservation architecture through the enjoyment of learning about the history and significance of the site, and using this to be sympathetic to the historic fabric when designing.

Hattie Wilson have recently started as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant. Hattie completed her Bachelor of Science (Hons) at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, where she developed a passion for the conservation of historic buildings and their potential to be transformed into valuable community assets.

Her participation in yearly training events run by the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings has fuelled a growing interest in the intricacies of materiality in historic settings, as well as hands on experience with traditional conservation techniques. This informed her final year dissertation, which explored the role of vernacular tradition in placemaking and regional diversity through the lens of a community-run village archive.

We warmly welcome them both and they increase the team to 14. We will be sharing the refurbishment of our new extra office space over the coming weeks so keep an eye out for updates.
