Newhaven Fort Project Shortlisted for Prestigious AABC Conservation Award

We are thrilled to announce that our Newhaven Fort project has been shortlisted as a Regional Finalist in the 2026 AABC Conservation Awards, part of the Civic Trust Awards scheme.

This recognition celebrates projects that demonstrate an exceptional standard of historic building conservation, contributing to the quality and character of the built environment. Regional Finalists are selected for their commitment to sustainability, accessibility, and positive civic impact, values that have been at the heart of our work at Newhaven Fort.

The project showcases our dedication to preserving heritage while ensuring the site remains relevant and welcoming for future generations. Being acknowledged at this level is a testament to the collaborative effort and expertise invested in safeguarding this important landmark.

We are proud to see Newhaven Fort recognised among the region’s most outstanding conservation projects, following previous successes at the Sussex Heritage Trust Awards and the Green Apple Awards.
