Progress continues at pace at our off-grid restoration project in the Seven Sisters Country Park.

Originally two farm cottages, which have previously been combined, our project comprises structural repairs, reroofing and a full programme of renewable technologies to provide services to the property in a sustainable way.

The previous LPG fired heating system, solid fuel hot water system and diesel engine are being replaced by a new design which comprises photovoltaic panels with battery storage and a biomass powered heating and hot water system. The structural repairs will secure the future of the building whilst returning clay roof tiled roof coverings to the building will restore the original aesthetic in place of the previous concrete interlocking tiles. Work is well underway on site and should be completed over the Summer.
