Genevieve Tessier-Lemoyne BSc (Hons)
Architectural Assistant

Genevieve earned her Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Architecture from the University of Reading, receiving a RIBA bronze medal nomination for her final project, a retrofit proposal based in Hackney Wick. The project acts as a pilot scheme for repurposing council-owned land with overlooked public space in the Lea Valley, translating an abandoned Victorian brick building into a wider mixed-use programme for the community.

Her interest in conservation began through experience at the Bourg en Bresse heritage architecture office for the Batiments de France. Here, the combination of hand drawn practice with the conservation of historic fabric influenced her passion for the sector. This early involvement with heritage assets helped guide an understanding of sustainable design strategies.
